One more year passes, and Quinton is now 6 years old. and currently at school. he was nervous about his first day to say the least. but after some reassurance from his parents. he was more excited than ever. at the moment Jade was out by the woods observing a family of Wrens that had nested in a tree nearby and journaling them. taking notes on what their diet is, how they constructed their nests, as well as physical attributes and their uniquie chirps of communication

Well aren't you just lovely *She said quietly, whispering so she doesn't scare them*

*Eventually she went back home and put her journal on the top shelf in the living room and went to go figure out where gale is*

Yeah, i'm in the kitchen making a sandwich.

*Went into the kitchen and hugged him from behind* you doing okay?

Well i can't be the only one worried about Quinn.. Quinton i'm sure will be okay.. but i wonder how she's doing at Araavos's school.. i mean once we were informed she'd be attending his school for demigods i can't help but wonder how she'd fare with being mortal an all..

Well I mean, Araavos is her godfather, I doubt anything can harm her with him watching over her.

I know, i know.. but i can't help but worry for her sometimes.. *She said. letting go of him and sighing softly*

*Pours herself a little Tequila and sits down for a drink*

Well.. Last time i visited my father he mentioned there was going to be a Play going on. it's a musical with a Premise Similar to that of Beauty and the beast called The Village Girl and the Monster. perhaps we can bring the kids to watch with us later?

*Comes back out* Okay i got the outfit i wanna wear ready.

Not even 10 minutes later Quinton Comes home and heads inside

Mom! Dad! I'm back!! *he said, dropping his school bag and running over to them and tackle hugging them while they were sitting on the couch*

it was actually fun!!! but i was a little nervous when i saw how many other kids were there. so i didn't talk to them much. but otherwise i liked it. the teacher was really nice too

It was fun!! I got to learn about all the different realms and dimensions today. and daddy and I were having sex in his office, and... I.... winced a little, cause I didn't really want to. And he stopped and asked me what was wrong. I was so scared, but I told him I only like it sometimes.. so... he stopped. Basically honey. Araavos Loves you not only as a daughter. but as a romantic, and sexual partner. like i love your father. but we don't see you that way because you're a child. and here it's wrong to even look at a child in that way. but because Araavos is the god of all things. he doesn't believe in such Morals. so he does as he pleases with who he wants to. even children like you.. but this doesn't mean we don't love you sweetheart. we love you just as much if not more than he does. just not in the same way.

Like I said, there was a tension she picked up on, and since she knew I wasn't going to act on it, she did.

That was the sexual part of it, yes.... The romantic part was, we just sort of bonded, and not just in the daddy daughter way, she got my humor, I got hers, we just sort of, grew together in that sort of way. Which honestly made the tension worse.

Well it's both. It depends on the moment. Sometimes when she goes out on adventures, I can't help but worry about her as her father. But when she comes over with baked goods, and a movie, and is snort laughing in that cute way she does when something funny happens in the movie, it's romantic, and when she gets all hot and bothered and comes out all seductive, well.. *clears throat* that's.. well that's.. uhh... the kind of attention Araavos gives you....

Oh... .. Well you're still not as much of a creep as daddy Araavos is.. *She shrugged* but i love you daddy...

I've heard others call him that. because he likes little girls like me. mostly some of the other kids at School. the older ones.

Like your mother said, not everything Araavos does, is accepted with everyone. Some are okay with it, some realms, some societies, some people. But not everyone. There will be those who can't understand, or don't want to understand his ways. But what you must understand, what we all must understand, is that what he does, he does because he can. With him there is no right or wrong. He didn't create right and wrong. We create within ourselves, and within our own cultures what we feel is right and wrong. So in my eyes for example. Sex with kids is on that wrong side, so I won't ever do that to you at your age. But sex with family is... acceptable. If you love them.. in a romantic sense. But sex, just for the sake of sex, probably not with my own kids. But some friends, sure.

i think it's kind of gross in any sense to Have sex with a family member... *She grimaced* But in any case i'll always love and accept both of my daddies. as strange as they are.

And that may or may not change. I know Araavos isn't really a family member. That's probably why you enjoy it sometimes. And i'll understand if you actually do like him. All i'm saying is you and I aren't doing that anytime soon, if at all...

Well.. i did tell him i want to keep doing it.. just not as often. at least until i get older. cause when i'm older i think i might enjoy it more.

Knowing him, you probably will.... I've never heard one person complaign about how good he is.... *he kinda grumbled a little, being reminded how much better he is at... quite literally everything gets old after a while*

*She saw the look on his face and held his arm gently* That doesn't mean i love him more than you daddy.. you're my real daddy. and i'm happy about that.

There's more than one kind of love sweetheart you might actually find a romantic love with him. But as for parental love. Ours will always be special.

*Going over to Gale and placing a hand on his shoulder* Are you alright honey?

*She kissed his cheek and played with a strand of his hair before sitting down and waiting for Quinn*

What's to say, i'm disgusted, but not surprised, and she seems happy so why bother fighting it?

i know honey.. i don't like it either.. but our family is still whole.. both of our children survived.. all of us spent time together tonight. they got to see their grandpa.. i'd call it a good day otherwise.

I'm just happy he told her, it's her choice now that she's old enough at least in his eyes, to speak for herself.

I am too. And i can't blame her for feeling the way she does. it's what she thinks is natural now. she doesn't know she isn't supposed to feel these things at her age. it's just how she was brought up there..

The only reason she would think she's not supposed to is if we instill our beliefs on her, But it's just that, our beliefs, whether it's him, me, you, or goblins, she's going to form her opinion, at least at first, based on her environment, and then make up her own mind as she matures. She's getting to the point now where Araavos, is letting her make up her own mind about how she feels, he just doesn't put a limit on it like others would. While I don't completely agree with it, shouldn't we be happy that whatever she can dream of, however she feels, she's free to have it?

*She nodded* Of course. regardless of the path she chooses or what she believes. one constant truth is we're both her parents. and we'll love her either way.
